Role Overview A fantastic opportunity for a globally minded content editor and marketer at one of the world's leading real estate companies.
Responsible for leading our content outputs, programmes, and client communications, this role will require a blend of creative editorial skills, strategic thinking and leadership to ensure our content is engaging, consistent and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities The Senior Content and Editorial Manager reports to the Head of B2B Marketing and Content and is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of content creation, editorial direction and content strategy.
The role is suited to someone who can produce and edit content in multiple formats (e.g.
digital, print, long-form, short-form).
Experience in both a lifestyle and business environment is advantageous.
Day-to-day responsibilities of the role include: Own the content strategy for the UK Residential business and lead the programmes, projects and outputs that deliver against this.
Lead the Residential Editorial Board bringing together content contributors from across Marketing, PR and Savills Research.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and depth of content.
Lead the editorial process and output of Savills flagship content programme, Portfolio by Savills in both print and digital formats.
Oversee content calendars and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content across multiple marketing platforms and channels.
Proofread, review and edit content for clarity, style, grammar and brand consistency.
Write content where required.
Write, edit and approve a variety of content types including articles, Savills Research outputs, case studies, client communications, event / webinar invites and more.
Build effective relationships with content agencies, designers and in-house teams and brief them effectively.
Build a deep understanding of Savills clients and customers and ensure customer needs are well represented in content outputs and campaigns.
Align to editorial guidelines, ensure consistency in tone of voice and style and maintain Savills brand voice across all content.
Work alongside the Brand and Marketing Insights, Digital Marketing, Social Media and CRM teams to ensure that client communications work holistically, and that customer needs are addressed at each marketing touchpoint.
Prepare and present marketing presentations for the business including project overviews, distribution plans and campaign performance.
Optimise and manage budgets and spend for relevant projects and programmes.
Lead, mentor and manage two direct reports and oversee outputs from other content creators and freelance contributors.
Key Skills/ Experience A minimum of 8 years marketing experience is required for this role.
Experience in both a lifestyle and business environment is advantageous.
