Senior Community Mental Health Support Worker

Job summary This is a new exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join the CMHT based at Wimborne Adult CMHT to cover maternity leave for a fixed term of 11 months.
You will work as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team.
The team is made up of Psychiatrists, Nurses, Psychologists, Employment Specialists, Physical Health Workers, Social Workers and Administrators.
The role requires working independently and autonomously with service users with a serious mental illness with the support of qualified mental health nurses and the multi-disciplinary team.
You will be expected to work across the service in the community, enabling and empowering individuals to access opportunities which will promote their recovery.
Previous experience of working within Mental Health would be advantageous as would a flexible, innovative and person-centred approach to practice.
