Senior Commercial Underwriter

An exceptional opportunity to join a significant Commercial Insurer with an exceptional reputation, who continue to grow and go from strength to strength.
It is primarily an existing business role for cases from Commercial level through to premiums at £six-figures - perfect for a Commercial Underwriter who wishes to take their experience to another level.
We are looking for individuals with Property and Casualty, or Commercial Packages underwriting experience in the UK market, who can will initially be deployed to service the existing renewal book.

The Role: As a Senior Commercial Underwriter, you will: Continually review the existing portfolio of commercial insurance business to ensure strong broker service, and continued profitability Ensure that retention remains robust Work with the Business Development team and Underwriting Manager ensure the high level of broker service is maintained, and that all relevant underwriting criteria are met.
Work with the general underwriting team to assist individuals with the more complex referrals.
Your profile: You will: Have a minimum of 5 years Commercial Underwriting experience (Property AND Casualty or Combined Packages underwriting) in the UK.
Have experience of working alongside a Business Development team to achieve best outcomes Demonstrate a positive and dynamic outlook to broker service and drive positive results.
Be based in and around the West Midlands for access to the Birmingham office.
