Senior Commercial Property Lawyer

We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority in the North West, who are recruiting for a Senior Commercial Property Lawyer to join the team on a locum basis, for 3-months initially.

The role will be full-time for 35-hours a week, and the rate is negotiable subject to PQE.

The role can offer fully-remote working, however attendance for Court hearings is desirable if candidates are based locally.

Duties will include (but are not limited to): Handling all aspects of commercial property caseload with a focus on commercial leases Managing agreements for lease, licences for alterations and assignment, service of LTA 1954 notices, rent review memos, side letters, break notices, deeds of variations, licences to underlet, enforcement of tenant's covenants, reports on title, sales and acquisitions Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team Experience required: Local Government experience highly desirable Relevant professional qualifications Working hours: 35 hours per week Monday – Friday Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
