Our client is a highly innovative food manufacturer, with ambitious growth plans, due to expansion in the team they are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager to develop their B2B customer base.
We are looking for someone who has experience of managing customers such as - Greencore, Samworth, Bakkavor, Stateside foods, Samworth Brothers and the QSR channel This is a fast paced and progressive food business, and an exciting time to join and become part of their future success.
This is a hybrid working roles, however the ideal candidates would ideally be able to be in the office twice a week Overview Deliver budgeted Vol, Revenue & Margin in designated customers through execution of business plans which focus on core range, NPD listings and activation.
Accountable for negotiating mutually beneficial business plans with key customers to help deliver the above.
Key responsibilities Develop compelling business plans for assigned Customers.
Accountable for the full P&L for designated Customers Forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Accurately manage the internal set up of all customer prices and terms.
To be the internal face of designated customers, ensuring each department understands what is important.
Reporting weekly performance against budget, targets and forecast providing variance analysis Relevant account administration Plan and execute account marketing spend Cross functional project involvement both internally and external Empowered to make some day to day account decisions within boundaries 2.
Person specification Qualifications Graduate calibre (Business related degree) or equivalent experience Financial competency Experience Experienced in managing B2B customers- In any of the specified customers we are recruiting for is preferable either as an Account Manager / Executive or similar role; Managed the full P&L Core Competencies Essential Commercial Awareness Personal Motivation High quality communication Have a track record of successful selling within the food / beverage retail sector.
