Closing Date2025-02-03Job Title: Senior Commercial Manager (Construction)Location: Hybrid working between Falmer office and home alongside site visits as needed.Contract Type: PermanentHours: 37 hours per week, Monday - FridaySalary: Salary and package are to be discussed at the screening stage.Job OverviewSouthern Water are expanding, and we are now delighted to be recruiting for 3 new Senior Commercial Managers to join our dedicated Procurement and Commercial team.Leading on the commercial management and contract administration processes, you will look after everything from pre-contract to post-contract to deliver distinct programmes of construction work within capital and operational delivery.Alongside your team of Quantity Surveyors/Commercial Managers, duties will include but are not limited to:Drafting and creating contracts in collaboration with wider team.Finalising terms and conditions (e.g key risks, dates, incentive mechanisms etc).Managing post-contract variations, claims and disputes.Assuring and auditing contractor payments and claims.Being the key liaison between internal stakeholders and the supply chain.Managing engaged commercial professionalsThese are newly created positions as part of our expansion for AMP8, in which we will be delivering one of the largest capital and operational delivery plans the industry has seen!
