About the Role: As the Senior Client Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects or programmes of works throughout the design and implementation stages, ensuring adherence to timescales, budgets, and specifications.

Ensure adherence to timescales, budgets, and specifications.
Keep team leaders, senior managers, and other relevant parties updated on progress.
Consult with Councillors, stakeholders, and the public on transportation scheme development.
Prepare reports and project appraisals for Executive Members.
Identify, collect, and monitor project resources, progress, and financial information.
Evaluate and monitor engineering and infrastructure projects to ensure scheme objectives are achieved to current standards.
Prioritize assigned projects and manage project teams to meet targets and objectives.
Required Qualifications and Experience: RQF level 4 or Degree level qualification in a relevant field.
Post qualification experience in a relevant field.
Good project management skills and experience within Highways and Transportation.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
Good knowledge base on transportation and planning topics and policy generally.
Good understanding of highway and traffic engineering standards and best practice.
Decision Making Areas: Determine project-related targets and monitoring activity, timelines, and budget.
Approval of technical and contractual elements of projects.
Decide on the appropriate level and form of stakeholder involvement.
Develop new approaches from first principles to novel situations where previous solutions may not exist.
Undertake 'Client' responsibilities under CDM 2015.
Working Conditions: Hybrid working (mixture of home and office), with infrequent visits to live sites.
Communicating with colleagues and contractors in a challenging environment.
Ability to fulfill the travel requirements of the role.
