Senior Civil Engineer

Position: Senior Civil Engineer Location: Birmingham Salary: £45 - £55K plus an excellent benefits package.
The Client.
Our client covers a range of sectors including Logistics, Development Infrastructure, Residential, Health, Education, Manufacturing, Offices, Retail, Leisure, and Public Realm.
The company's directors and engineers have extensive experience of a wide variety of projects including several major projects, with construction values exceeding £100m.
They seek to eliminate risk through good design and communication practices to fulfil our operating requirements within the CDM regulations.
The Role.
Manage appropriate projects with full liaison with clients and third parties Coordinate with our clients project engineers, technicians and senior team in scheme delivery.
Review project briefs and fee proposals to appropriately allocate resource and programme works for delivery with scope of agreed works, whilst being aware of additional work opportunities.
Support development of project cost estimates.
Analyse technical problems, assessing the feasibility of proposed techniques and procedures, and devising new approaches and alternative solutions.
The Candidate.
Clear and positive communicator, willing to take ownership for project management and a passion for problem solving in engineering.
Independently use design software, including AutoCAD, Microdrainage / WinDes, Civil 3D, KeySign and Lighting Reality.
Take technical ownership of the production of drawings, calculations, reports and design documents, overseeing the work of team members.
