As the Senior Charge Nurse for the hospital, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and day to day management of the hospital and the nursing team.
Your main focus will be: Ensuring the delivery of safe and effective clinical practice Enhancing our patients' experience of care Ensuring the health and safety of staff, patients, visitors and contractors Ensuring effective workforce planning within the negotiated budget Delivering care within the agreed budget Managing and developing the performance of the team Contributing to the delivery of the organisations objectives Migdale Hospital is situated in the heart of Sutherland; you are encouraged to apply to join our Sutherland District Management Team who are fully committed to delivering high quality, evidence-based and person-centred care for our patients, many of whom have complex care needs.

This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
