Robinson is looking for a dynamic Senior Carrier Representative to join our team and drive success in the UK domestic market.In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, strategically secure capacity, and ensure seamless execution of shipments to meet customer expectations.

By using data-driven insights and negotiating effectively, you'll make informed buying decisions and grow our carrier network.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving challenges, this is your opportunity to make an impact!RESPONSIBILITIES:The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:Execution:Match capacity to shipments to meet customer expectations and ensure seamless freight executionTake ownership of strategic freight opportunities by aligning internal teams and delivering tailored capacity solutionsCreate and execute SOPs while adhering to best practices and agreed-upon KPIsCollaborate with internal teams to resolve shipment challenges and ensure smooth operational executionCapacity Procurement:Build a healthy portfolio of carrier capacity by sourcing, negotiating, and buying at market-competitive ratesUtilize analytics and pricing tools to guide informed buying decisions and secure capacity that meets load requirementsDevelop innovative capacity solutions, including drop trailer programs, dedicated lanes, and multi-leg movementsInternal and External Relationships:Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers through communication, visits, and account reviewsResearch and onboard new carriers by generating leads and qualifying opportunitiesLead carrier evaluations to align future business needs and identify growth opportunitiesQuality:Drive automation compliance in carrier activities in alignment with company strategyEnsure high-quality standards across all shipments and carrier engagementsComply with internal trading rules and exceed quality expectations in every aspect of the roleQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university3+ years of experience in carrier sales and transport coordination, specializing in the UK marketKnowledge of managed carriers, automation tools, and recommendation systemsProficiency in CRM tools and business KPI managementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong negotiation, persuasion, and influencing abilitiesSkilled at prioritization and thriving under deadlinesOpen, adaptable, and eager to learn new opportunitiesTeam player with a "can-do" attitude and enthusiasmStrong relationship-building and customer service-focused approachWhat we offerReal opportunities to grow your talent in a fast-moving, global organizationA fun, open, and inclusive workplace that encourages innovative thinkingPossibility to develop your language skills in our multilingual officesOpportunities for professional growth with access to training platformsComprehensive benefits: competitive salary and performance-based bonusesQuestioning if you meet the mark?
