At Superior Healthcare we are passionate about the progression and development of our teams, and due to the growth of our organisation, we currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Complex Care team as a Senior Carer!
The role: As a Senior Carer, you will work within the East of Kent in areas such as Whitstable, Herne Bay, Canterbury, Thanet, and Surrounding areas.
You will be required to work night shifts to support several clients and will have to have the flexibility to travel to assignments.
If a client's needs mean that you require extra skills (for example, if they need assistance to meet their nutritional requirements), we will provide paid, specialist training to ensure that you can confidently support their needs and continue to develop your skills.
Reporting to: Nurse Manager Hours/Shift Pattern You will work a minimum of 35 hours each week, up to a maximum of 42 hours, depending on shift duration.
This will be for night shifts on a two week alternating rota If you'd like to discuss your application before applying or find out more about the role, please contact ****** SHCMMO Responsibilities Providing a high standard of care to our clients with all different healthcare requirements Travel to all client's within a designated area Moving and handling Providing personal care Medication administration Support new members of staff with shadow shifts and inductions Requirements A minimum of 12 months UK experience in a care and previous experience of supporting adults/children with complex care needs Tracheostomy experience is preferred but not essential, as full training with be given Possession of, or willing to work towards, a level 3 NVQ qualification or similar Confident, positive interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team Excellent oral and written communication skills Satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure Full, clean UK driving licence, with access to your own vehicle Evidence of the right to work in the UK Benefits Choice of day, night and weekend shifts Blue light card - we'll pay for it.
