Senior Care Worker

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Care Worker to join our team and report to the Service Manager.
This key role involves supervising and supporting your team while ensuring high-quality care for service users.
You will manage daily operations, including staff planning, medication processes, and contributing to care plans and quality improvement.
You will also provide management cover when needed and maintain a safe and secure environment.
You will be responsible for staff supervision, recruitment, and identifying training needs, and will assist with health and safety, and staff meetings.
Upholding our Christian ethos and ensuring sensitive, respectful care is central to this role.
Candidates must hold a relevant SVQ level 3, have basic computer skills, and possess a Christian faith.
Membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and SSSC registration is required.

This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.
This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks.
You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
