As a Care Team Leader, you will bring your experience as a Senior Care Assistant to support and lead the Care Assistant team, who will directly report to you.
You will oversee the running of the Residential Unit, providing support to less experienced employees, helping them to contribute fully to the care team while supporting the Home Manager in delivering high service standards.

(You are required to be a minimum of 18 yrs of age to apply) About The Role Key Responsibilities Responsible for consistently monitoring the standard of care being delivered to all residents, ensuring that care is of the highest quality at all times.
Ensure that all residents receive quality medical and personal care, and that care plans are fully maintained.
Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, stay informed of any changes impacting care, and update care plans to reflect these variations.
Act as the main point of contact for residents, their relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals.
Ensure that any reasonable requests are addressed and that concerns or complaints are promptly investigated and resolved appropriately.
Team Management and Support Support the Home Manager in the implementation of policies, procedures, and business objectives to help move the business forward.
Maintain and prepare the team duty rota to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times.
Conduct team member supervisions and appraisals in line with company policy, ensuring compliance with external regulatory guidelines.
Ensure that all team members are trained and updated on safe systems of work, including Manual Handling and fire safety evacuation procedures, through the induction process.
Attend and encourage team members to attend all relevant team meetings.
Liaise with the Home Manager to assist with recruitment and selection of employees into the home.
Additional Responsibilities Understand personal responsibilities in relation to the Health and Safety at Work Act, including a working knowledge of COSHH assessments.
Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
Ensure effective communication is maintained.
Develop a welcoming culture within the home to promote a positive and engaged team working ethos.
Respond positively to colleagues and action all reasonable work instructions promptly.
Liaise with the Home Manager and advise on the supply and quality of items purchased by the home, ensuring timely and appropriate ordering of replacement goods.
Act as a liaison with external bodies.
Identify the training needs of the team and participate in the formulation and implementation of the home's training program.
