Job summary This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Avery Healthcare in Stratford-upon-Avon, where you will be supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care to residents.
The role involves monitoring resident wellbeing, implementing and evaluating care plans, supporting with medication, and supervising and developing care staff.
Main duties of the job As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Other responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development.

If this sounds like the place for you, wed love to hear from you!ABOUT THE ROLEYour focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.Other responsibilitieswillinclude: Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in your application, youwill live our values of caring,supportive,honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do.Our ideal candidatemust: Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
Have 2 years experience working in similar care environment.
Have the ability tocommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Have a positive attitude to bothsupporting and nurturing residents and staff.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential To be successful, you must have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment, the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff, and the ability to be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
