Job summary This role is for a Senior Care Assistant to join the friendly, award-winning team at Spencer House Care Home in Northampton.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and delivering high-quality personal care to residents, while also monitoring their wellbeing, implementing care plans, and supporting the development of the care team.
Main duties of the job As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Other responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions.

Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.

Have 2 years experience working in similar care environment.
Have the ability tocommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential To be successful in this role, you must have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment, the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff, and be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
