Job summary This role as a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare's Hinckley House Care Home is an opportunity to make a positive impact on residents' lives every day.

Main duties of the job As a Senior Care Assistant, you will support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Responsibilities include monitoring resident wellbeing, being involved in care planning, supporting with medication, and undertaking staff supervision and development.

If this sounds like the place for you, wed love to hear from you!ABOUT THE ROLEYour focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupport and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.Other responsibilitieswillinclude: Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in your application, youwill live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do.Our ideal candidatemust: Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
Have 2 years experience working in similar care environment.
Have the ability tocommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Have a positive attitude to bothsupporting and nurturing residents and staff.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential You will need an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, along with 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment.
