Job summary This role is for a Senior Care Assistant position at Pemberley House Care Home, a part of the Avery Healthcare group.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Main duties of the job As a Senior Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centered care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and health/social care professionals.

Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.

Have 2 years experience working in similar care environment.
Have the ability tocommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential To be successful, you must have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment, the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff, and be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
