More About The Role: As a Senior Home Care Assistant, you will be a mentor and supervisor to our Home Care Assistants.
You will work closely with the office team to be at the heart of keeping our care standards high.
As a Senior Home Care Assistant for the York office, you will be responsible for covering service delivery across our main areas, York, Easingwold and Thirsk.
Responsibilities may include: Delivering a high-level care service, inclusive of personal social and domestic services.
Ensuring service across the team is delivered in accordance with all relevant policies, procedures and practices Carry out duties as assigned by the Registered Manager To provide in-house training to care teams when required To support the introduction of new clients and the development of the service into new areas Attend Senior Team Meetings as and when required Carry out spot checks on Home Care Assistants Rewards Package: Guaranteed 30-hour contract - with access to additional hours Excellent Basic Pay Scheme - earn more as you gain qualifications Extra Pay On Bank Holidays - well pay you time and a half for all your bank holiday hours Gain Nationally Accredited Qualifications Regular Pay Increases £100 Cash Reward - if you refer a client to The Great Care Company £500 Cash Reward - if you refer a friend to become a carer Workplace Pension Scheme - together we invest in your future Receive a Minimum of 5.6 weeks annual leave per annum - we recognise the value of rest & relaxation Free MOT!
What were looking for: To be a lead member of our team youll need to be able to inspire and develop a team, excelling as a mentor.
Youll need to have a passion for delivering and developing a high standard of care service compliant with relevant policies.
You must get excited to expand services and brand development as you and your team represent The Great Care Company and get involved with marketing & PR activities across Yorkshire to help strengthen our reputation.
You will need to hold a National Vocation Qualification Level 3 (NVQ 3), Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care or work towards it.
You will need to have 1 year of care experience in a domiciliary care environment, preferably 2 years.
You will also need to hold a full driving license with access to your own vehicle.
