About The Role In your role as a Senior Healthcare Assistant at Hero Recruitment, you'll value kindness above all.

When joining our team of dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistants, you will be supporting the day-to-day lives of our residents, from their personal care to their safety and assisting with daily activities.
It is important that you really get to know each resident and their likes and dislikes so you can provide the highest standard of person-centred care and bring a smile to their face.
Within your role as a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you can really make a difference in our residents' lives.
Your responsibilities will include: Helping our residents with personal support and care.
Interacting with our residents on a personal level.
Taking a leadership role on a designated unit.
Reviewing and updating care plans.
Giving personal care to residents.
Administering medication and ensuring that social activities are provided during each shift.
REQUIREMENTS: Must live and have the right to work in the UK (Unable to offer visa sponsorship).
Must have at least 1+ years recent experience in a similar care role within a residential care home for the elderly.
Great communication skills, both written & verbal.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels & enjoy working in a team.
Knowledge of needs and rights of older people and an understanding of good care principles.
You must be able and willing to do day and night shifts on a rota basis.
To have a friendly, caring, empathetic, and happy personality.
Able to work alternate weekends.
Comfortable and confident working as part of a team or lone working.
Schedule: Day shifts Night shifts Monday to Friday 10 hour shifts 12 hour shifts Benefits: Free uniform provided.
