Job Opportunity: Senior Care Assistant – Fingringhoe Minerva Recruitment is advertising this role on behalf of our client, who is urgently seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join their dedicated team in Fingringhoe.
Key Details: Hours: Full time 36, 42, or 48 hours per week Shift Patterns: 08:00 – 14:00 14:00 – 20:00 08:00 – 20:00 20:00 – 08:00 Pay Rate: £13.05 per hour Benefits Include: Overtime: Paid at time and a half Christmas & New Year: Paid double time Petrol Allowance: £30 per month Blue Light Card: Paid for by the employer Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks, increasing to 6 weeks with serviceDuties & Responsibilities: Organising and managing the day-to-day shift responsibilities.
Dispensing and administering residents' medication.
Liaising with medical professionals such as GPs and District Nurses to ensure residents receive appropriate care.
Supporting staff with all aspects of personal care, including feeding residents.
Conducting regular checks on residents to ensure their wellbeing.
Completing all mandatory paperwork and documentation regarding residents.Candidate Requirements: Must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or be actively working towards it.
A full driving license and access to a vehicle are essential due to the location.
