Job Title: Senior Care Assistant - Days or Nights Location: Edwinstowe Service Type: Care Home Salary: £14.37 per hour plus incentives Shifts: Days or Nights, full time or part time Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our passionate and professional team.
This role involves working day or night shifts (7pm-7am, / 7am - 7pm 3-4 shifts per week, including alternate weekends).
The care home is a welcoming and homely environment, registered for 49 residents and offering personal, nursing, and dementia care.

Responsibilities: Provide the highest standards of care, supporting residents in all aspects of daily living.
Promote residents' independence, dignity, and wellbeing with a person-centred approach.
Lead shifts to ensure the care team delivers consistent, high-quality care.
Administer and document medications accurately and oversee daily chart completion.
Mentor and support team members, promoting good practices and addressing areas of improvement.
Participate in handovers and ensure excellent communication across shifts.
Requirements: Relevant professional qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care).
At least two years of experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home setting.
A strong understanding of person-centred care planning and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure with a caring and enthusiastic attitude.
