Senior Care and Support Assistant   3 Hilltop House, 2 Heldhaw Road, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP32 7ER   £12.67 per hour   37.5 hours per week     Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Care and Support Assistant at our CQC registered physical disabilities service at Hilltop House, Bury St Edmunds.

The role of Senior Care and Support Assistant will include: Leading a team of Care and Support Assistants Working closely with staff to provide personal care and support to customers, and encourage them to enhance their independence and personal potential Safe handling of medication Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers Promoting safe practices and undertaking risk assessments as appropriate Managing and implementing safeguarding principles to ensure the safety of our customers   Skills and experiences: Recent experience of working in a similar role with vulnerable people is essential Previous experience supervising a team Personalised approach to care and support, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form positive relationships with people from varied backgrounds Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong "can-do" attitude Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification Understanding of relevant legislation and best practice   Are you ready to be your best?
