Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineering Buyer to join their dynamic team.
As a Senior Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic procurement initiatives, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery across the global supply chain.
From managing supplier relationships to overseeing the procurement of materials, components, and services, you will be instrumental in optimising the company's production efficiency.
The role: Drive strategic procurement initiatives to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery across the global supply chain.
Manage supplier relationships and oversee the procurement of materials, components, and services.
Lead supplier selection, approval processes, and logistics management.
Implement cost-saving measures and add value to the business through innovative procurement strategies.
Manage engineering and supply chain changes, ensuring ISO1345 compliance.
What do you need to apply?
A strong background in sourcing mechanical and electro-mechanical components for regulated industries (e.g.medical, food, aerospace).
Demonstrable achievements in cost savings and lead time reduction.
Proficiency in ERP systems and interpreting engineering drawings.
A formal engineering qualification or equivalent work experience.
CIPS membership or a willingness to work towards this certification is advantageous.
