What's the opportunity Reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Manager Body Structure, you will be responsible for supporting the strategic direction and the commercial management of some of the Body Structure commodities (ie: Stamping) in line with the global Forseven Strategy created by a Senior Buyer already in position.
Requirements What you will do: • Developing maintaining commodity strategies for a specific range of suppliers • Supporting and managing the negotiation and completion of Production Supplier Contracts within the commodity area following alignment with the Senior Buyer.
• Partnering with Engineering, Quality and other support functions to develop the supplier strategy and ensure we are using the leveraging with best technology, cost and quality.
• Conducting and evaluating assessments of potential Suppliers and work with the Engineering Partner on the creation of Sourcing recommendations.
• Developing and maintaining supplier relationships, including supplier evaluation and risk management • Ensuring that the Supplier can fulfil Programme targets, including timing, cost, quality, technical attributes.
