Job summary A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised Senior Business Manager to join the Group Digital Services Team at Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT).
We are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic, and dedicated member of staff with a delivery focus who can align to our values and behaviors.
You will be delivering exciting change initiatives, service improvements and defined projects across our portfolio of work, supporting the achievement of the MFT Digital Strategy and wider organizational strategies and digital aspirations.
Main duties of the job To ensure the Group Chief Digital Information Officer receives the support required to be effective in the full range of their duties and responsibilities.
To organise and ensure effective delivery of specific meetings led/chaired by the Group Chief Digital Information Officer and provide comprehensive, direct, and proactive assistance to the Group Chief Digital Information Officer in terms of the production of presentations, reports, and briefings.
To ensure the Group Chief Digital Information Officer is briefed for meetings and engagements, following up actions as work in close partnership with the Group Chief Digital Information Officer Executive Assistant to manage and prioritise the Group Chief Executive's calendar and commitments.
To act as a key liaison point for the Executive Director Team (EDT), ensuring that EDT agendas and those for other key meetings reflect relevant business, ensuring reports are received and circulated on time.
To interpret and analyse information and produce reports.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Master's degree or equivalent experience.
Desirable Business and / or project management qualification.
KNOWLEDGE Essential Specialist knowledge and experience of performance management, information systems, project/programme and business management.
Knowledge and working experience of MFT.
Familiar with GM health and social care more broadly.
Informed about the NHS and current national, regional and local strategies and policies.
Knowledge and experience of managing staff within a healthcare setting.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE Essential Management of resources with a recent history of involvement with change processes, efficiency savings and project management.
Experience of developing and maintaining effective partnerships with stakeholders.
Experience of project management, report writing and imaginative planning.
Experience of managing staff.
Evidence of continuous professional development.
Desirable An understanding of effective systems for integrated governance and the management of clinical and non-clinical risks.
