Senior Business Development Manager (C&I Solar) Location: Lancashire (Hybrid) + Travel
Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 + Uncapped Commission

Our client has experienced significant growth over the past two years and has ambitious plans for further expansion.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join their team and drive success in large-scale commercial solar projects.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategies to identify and secure large-scale commercial and industrial solar projects.
Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders in major organisations.
Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality tenders, ensuring alignment with client requirements and deadlines.
Negotiate contracts and manage the sales cycle to effectively close deals.
Collaborate closely with technical and project delivery teams to tailor proposals to client needs.
Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and relevant policies.
Essential Skills: Proven track record of securing large-scale commercial solar projects.
Strong experience in tender writing and submission processes.
Demonstrated success in managing and developing relationships with introducing partners.
Experience negotiating and closing high-value contracts with large organisations.
Good knowledge of funding options, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPA).
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to establish credibility and trust with stakeholders.
Familiarity with renewable energy policies and market trends.
