We are seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to join the Business Development team for a leading international law firm based in London.
With a focus on the corporate practice, you'll work closely with a team of 33 London-based partners, managing BD initiatives that span multiple regions, practices, and sectors.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, commercially driven individual looking to take ownership of business development activities, including client relationship management, pitching, market research, and event support.
You will work in a dynamic environment, reporting directly to the BD Manager for the corporate practice.
Key Responsibilities: Support day-to-day targeting initiatives, research clients/markets for opportunities, and maintain targeting intelligence.
Help manage the Client Relationship Management Programme, identifying trends, cross-selling opportunities, and providing insights.
Independently support the Equity Capital Markets team with BD activities such as content production, client targeting, and internal meetings.
Assist with pitch preparation and submission, maintain marketing documents, and manage CRM lists.
Help deliver and promote BD campaigns, manage flagship events, and report on ROI.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the firm's corporate content, website, and internal communications align with strategy.
Experience: Proven experience in business development or marketing within legal or professional services.
Experience managing multiple deliverables within tight deadlines, with a focus on high-quality output.
Confident in liaising with senior stakeholders and developing strong working relationships with partners and fee earners.
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify commercial opportunities.
Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
High level of professionalism, with the ability to handle demanding individuals and foster an inclusive team culture.
