What you'll be doing Delivery and Transformation are responsible for change delivery across Direct Line Group, including strategic programmes, digital transformation, property, automation, data, and technology change.
The purpose of the role is to lead the analysis of the services to identify the business process and technology requirements that will deliver the vision for new services, solutions and capabilities within Direct Line Group. You will work with a range of business, technology, procurement and supplier stakeholders to develop and implement solutions which deliver business value with agreed timelines and budget.
Work within a team of Business Analysts, act as a role model and help support and develop individuals and the BA community within Change Delivery as a whole.Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in business analysis methods and tools. Proactively contribute to and support a Community of Practice.Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of business area processes, stakeholders and the core business system functionality. Support the development of business process architectures and the adoption of simplified operating models, business processes and applications.Investigate, analyse, review, define and document business requirements. Produce high quality deliverables by selecting and applying the most appropriate methods, tools and techniques and following agreed standards for the selected delivery methodologies. Manage requirements for a project ensuring there is verifiable traceability between requirements, solution and testing.Facilitate the identification and documentation of non-functional requirements and help define the case for change and support business case production.Collaborate on the design and selection of solutions within agreed architectures and standards.Inform and educate stakeholders on the potential contribution by Technology and obtain agreement on the requirements/features and ensure appropriate prioritisation is applied to meet business objectives.Support the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring requirements are properly understood and met by the delivered solution including data cleansing/migration and change implementation. Support implementation to ensure that the change is embedded and benefits realised.What you'll need We are looking for someone who can help develop and support other members within our Business Analysts community.Proven expertise in business analysis and requirements gathering with the ability to elicit, document, and prioritise functional and non-functional requirements across a range of complex business and technology projects.Experience within the financial services industry, or similar.Full understanding of the project delivery lifecycle across different delivery methodologies and has the experience of having worked on a variety of projects and programs (including transformation level) and is able to plan and manage the business analysis responsibilities for themselves.Experience in leading end-to-end digital transformation initiatives with a demonstrated background in overseeing the full project lifecycle from design through to testing and deployment, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and timelines.Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, experience in building and managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.Technical and architectural proficiency with an in-depth understanding of technology systems, processes, architecture, and applications.Benefits We wouldn't be where we are today without our people and the wide variety of perspectives and life experiences they bring.
