Senior Building Surveyor Competitive, ideally around £55,000 plus car allowance and benefits We're seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join the team in Sheffield.
This role is ideal for a surveyor ready to take on varied and impactful projects with a focus on public sector clients, including social housing and education.
As part of this position, you will work directly with local Councils and education sector clients across Leeds, Sheffield, and Hull, managing projects from inception to completion.
Project Oversight: Manage and coordinate projects with Sheffield City Council, including survey work, feasibility assessments, and a 2-year condition survey program primarily focused on social housing.
Client Engagement: Work with additional clients in the education sector, such as schools, academies, trusts, and universities.
Project Lifecycle Management: Lead projects through all phases, from inception to completion, including contract administration (JCT) and tender preparation.
Team Leadership: Provide line management for Sheffield-based staff and contribute to the growth and success of the existing team.
Requirements: Qualifications: MRICS qualification with at least 2+ years of post-qualification experience.
Familiarity with JCT contract administration, particularly in tender preparation and oversight.
Strong leadership skills and a collaborative mindset, as you'll oversee Sheffield-based staff and coordinate with various stakeholders.
This role does not require AutoCAD skills, as technical drawing is managed by another team.
