Our Client has a requirement for an Senior Building Services/HVAC Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in the UK.
Role Purpose: Support the HVAC Capability team with HVAC and Building Services.
Serve as a subject matter expert for clients and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with nuclear standards and processes.
Collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Job Role Responsibilities: Report directly to the HVAC Manager/Principal Engineer.
Deliver HVAC system design or modifications in adherence to UK regulations.
Produce system deliverables including schematics and engineering flow diagrams.
Conduct psychrometric calculations and heat rejection plant specifications.
Mentor junior staff and apprentices in nuclear ventilation design.
Maintain high-quality assurance and adherence to business management principles.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: Minimum HND in Building Services Engineering or 10 years of HVAC design experience.
Proven experience in building services engineering design consultancy.
Familiar with nuclear standards and site procedures (preferred).
Proficient in CAD software including Hevacomp, OpenBuildings, AutoCAD, and Revit.
Strong verbal communication skills and professional appearance.
BPSS security clearance (SC preferred).
Knowledge of steam and condensate systems is advantageous.
