An independent Cardiff based practice are looking to add a Senior Practice Bookkeeper to their growing team.
This is a varied role, where you will also be meeting local clients and assisting their bookkeeping needs.
The Bookkeeper position will involve managing your own portfolio of clients and providing a superior Bookkeeping service.
To be considered for this opportunity you do need to have worked with cloud based accounting software, including, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks.
You will be liaising with clients on site as and when required so you need to be a confident communicator who enjoys client interaction.
The Bookkeeper does need to have previous accountancy practice bookkeeping experience and ideally have gained their AAT level 4 qualification.
Full and part time hours will be considered.
Senior Practice Bookkeeper duties and responsibilities; Posting invoices, reconciling bank and preparing journals such as accruals, prepayments and depreciation.
Working with cloud based accountancy packages including, Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
Data processing and reconciliations both at client premises and within the office.
Preparing VAT returns.
Assistance with Accounts preparation.
Liaising with clients and assisting with general queries via email and telephone.
Training clients with accountancy software.
Assisting with junior members of the team as and when required.
Assisting clients with training of accountancy software packages.
Working Hours; Monday-Friday 37.5 hour per week.
