Senior Bioinformatician £65,000 - £75,000
South Cambridge, Hybrid 2-3 days per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and skilled Bioinformatics Software Developer to join one of Cambridge's exciting biopharmaceutical companies working on truly life-changing advancements in patient treatments.

Provide analytical and statistical expertise to enhance the design of tools.
Support the creation of web-based bioinformatics databases for analysis.
Optimise pipelines to ensure scalability and flexibility throughout production.
Lead and organise projects, collaborating with project members and presenting updates to stakeholders and the wider business.
Requirements At least 2 years of industrial experience in bioinformatics.
Strong Python programming ability and experience with Python testing frameworks.
Proficiency in analysing next-generation sequencing data.
SQL Databases, such as PostgreSQL.
Desirable: Additional programming experience in languages such as R, JavaScript, Go, or Rust.
