Senior Associate – Life Science Vc & Co-Investments, London

We have recently been instructed by a leading Venture Capital firm that makes direct investments in healthcare-orientated VC funds, in addition to co-investments alongside the group's portfolio companies.
The group are currently working to deploy a £2bn fund, targeting businesses across the UK.
Having experienced a period of sustained growth, our client is now looking to grow its investment team with the addition of a Senior Associate.
The successful candidate will manage the entire investment lifecycle, from due diligence and financial analysis to transaction negotiation and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities   Deal Leadership: Lead the appraisal, due diligence, and execution of co-investment opportunities, including detailed financial, scientific, and investment analysis.
Transaction Execution: Negotiate legal agreements and coordinate external advisors to ensure successful deal closure.
Portfolio Management: Oversee portfolio investments, monitor performance, and process management information and valuations.
Role Requirements   3+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, consulting, or M&A, with a particular focus on life sciences.
You must have experience co-investing alongside other funds, with a particular focus on later-stage life sciences.
Deep understanding of venture capital investment processes and legal frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to source and close investments.
Proven track record of successful portfolio management and exits is a plus.
You must hold a degree in a scientific discipline.
