As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents' well-being.
Your responsibilities will include: Provide exceptional resident care: This encompasses respecting residents' dignity, assisting with daily living activities, supporting mobility, and offering emotional support.
Communicate and collaborate : Effectively communicate with residents, families, and the care team, while collaborating to create a positive environment.
Maintain resident well-being : Following care plans, contributing to individualized care, keeping accurate records, and utilizing IT systems all contribute to resident well-being.
Professional development: Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities ensures continued growth and quality care.
Requirements: Passionate and dedicated to providing care with a commitment to resident empowerment.
Experienced in residential care home in administering and recording medication and completing care plans.
Leadership skills with ability to supervise a team.
Able to carry out risk assessments.
Knowledgeable of policies, procedures and care plans, whilst ensuring the home adheres to the requirements and procedures at all times.
A reliable and flexible individual with strong work ethics.

Qualifications: Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
A Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
At least a minimum of 2 years' experience in care or as a 'Senior Care Assistant'.
