OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Senior Acquisition Executive will lead on the development of and successfully implement Concern Worldwide UKs mass participation events and challenges strategy, to recruit new supporters to the organisation, and grow our base of supporters and unrestricted fundraising income KEY DUTIES: Main duties & Responsibilities: Lead and manage the annual programme of mass participation events both in Northern Ireland and Great Britain.
This would include virtual and physical, flagship events as well as bespoke and third party to significantly grow unrestricted income.
To achieve individual fundraising targets, and contribute to departmental income targets, developing and delivering key performance indicators, that contribute to the development of the annual fundraising operational plan.
Work with the Analysis and Campaign Planning team to consistently analyse results, interpret trends, review campaigns and provide recommendations on the strategies.
Lead marketing campaigns and execution.
Working closely with other Fundraising Executives to market campaigns through digital and offline marketing.
Devise and implement effective marketing techniques and tools to maximise engagement, support and income from mass participation fundraising.
Develop stewardship strategies to ensure supporters reach and exceed their fundraising targets, and have an outstanding first experience of the organisation.
Fulfil any packs and products as required.
Recruit, train and supervise volunteers where required.
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with event partners and suppliers.
To work closely with the Fundraising Innovation Team to identify gaps in the challenges product portfolio, develop and test new challenges and events.
To work closely with Senior Direct Marketing Executive Supporter Journeys and Loyalty to ensure an integrated stewardship plan once a supporter has taken part in an event.
Working closely with High Value and Community fundraisers to align events, fundraising activities and products.
Line manage the Challenges and Acquisition Fundraising Executive, setting individual objectives, KPIs and regular 121s and support meetings; and coordinating with other Acquisition Senior Executives.
To maintain excellent relations with internal Concern departments and teams, manage relations with external service providers and undertake additional duties, as required.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current legislation, best practice and industry standards around the promotion of challenge events & community fundraising and adhere to all relevant regulatory procedures.
Travel to meetings and events overseas and in country (in Northern Ireland and Great Britain) where necessary, may include occasional weekend or evening work.
