Senior Accountant / Client Manager

Accounts Manager / Business Services Manager (Accountancy Practice) – Guildford An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Accounts Manager to join a dynamic accountancy and business advisory practice.
This role involves managing a portfolio of UK and international clients, overseeing staff, and supporting the training and development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, partnerships, and sole traders, ensuring timely preparation and review of accounts.
Liaise with the tax department for VAT returns and ensure all filings are accurate and timely.
Train and supervise new and junior staff in both the Guildford office and overseas.
Promote innovative accounting practices and assist with business development activities, including attending networking events.
Skills & Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 5 years of practice experience.
Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel and accounting software (e.g.
Xero, QuickBooks).
Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities, with attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, client-focused, and flexible, with a commitment to travel between offices and client sites as needed.
