About Multi- Lines: Our Multi-Lines business, covering a whole range of specialty / ancillary, add-on and niche personal lines products has had significant double digit percentage growth year on year in the last 3 years and expects to continue in this vein.
You would be an important part of this ongoing success story.
The role: As a Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for growing and nurturing key client relationships across our medium to large clients .
You will need to analyse and adapt existing strategies or implement new ones to react to business and regulatory trends, whilst understanding fully the market in which they operate.
Key Responsibilities: To build credible long lasting relationships at all levels within a defined account portfolio To preserve existing business at profitable margins and achieve income and profit for all accounts To generate additional income through our existing accounts by introducing and cross selling Collinson existing product set Ensure new clients are successfully implemented and are delivering expected benefits Able to transform the needs of the client into a realistic project and meet the client's expectations To assist with the preparation of contractual agreements Work with the  functional team to produce monthly reports on all areas of client activity, aligning these to business plans and priorities and ensuring awareness of client KPIs against forecast Work with compliance and other teams to ensure we have the appropriate oversight of our agents and their distribution chain Work with Underwriting and other teams to devise a detailed tailored plan that maximises income in the short and longer term To effectively solve problems and manage risk to ensure achievement of targets To prepare presentations, proposals, account development plans, contact reports as necessary To support and work positively within the framework of the Commercial Strategy at all times Provide reports and analysis as required Knowledge , skills and experience required for this role: Proven commercial experience building partnerships with customers and prospective customers within the insurance market Experience in managing multi-functional client implementations with a particular focus on the insurance/assurance industry Experience in negotiating both commercially and financially within a pressurised environment Key Skills: Be able to demonstrate excellent communications skills being both articulate and confident Organised, with the ability to prioritise and demonstrate effective time management Proven track record of delivering creative solutions to overcome obstacles and enhance profitability Able to transform the needs of the client into a realistic project and meet the client's expectations Ability to network with, and influence, senior people both internally and externally in order to achieve a pre-defined outcome Strong proficiency using MS Office suite incl.
