Our client, a leading presentation design agency in maidenhead, are now looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their friendly and talented team.
As Senior Account Manager: You will manage the day-to-day relationships with their clients, working closely with Account Directors, senior colleagues, and clients to oversee projects at both a macro and micro level.
The role involves delivering client requirements to a high standard within agreed timeframes while also supporting client strategy and account growth.
You will balance a hands-on approach with leadership responsibilities, mentoring junior team members in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to multitask thoughtfully in a proactive environment.
Responsibilities of Senior Account Manager: • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic recommendations to support project success and long-term account growth • Lead and guide junior account managers and team members, contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment • Manage complex accounts from initial brief to delivery, identifying opportunities to support existing client relationships • Lead financial forecasting, profitability assessments, and budget management to help meet financial targets • Be proactive in finding new opportunities for clients, offering strategic services to enhance their success Experience required of Senior Account Manager: • A degree-level qualification - 2:1 preferred • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably within a design, marketing communications, or PR agency, with demonstrated success in leading larger or more complex accounts • Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop junior team members • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and project profitability at a senior level • A proactive, strategic thinker with a proven track record of growing client accounts and exceeding targets • Excellent organisation skills with a very high attention to detail • Clear and concise communicator who is an active listener as well as a talker
