Aspire People is working with a supportive SEN school in Leicester to find a caring and proactive individual to work with younger students who require additional support due to Special Educational Needs (SEN).
This is a full-time role perfect for someone with a strong background in SEN, a compassionate approach, and a willingness to contribute to the daily care and learning of children in the early years.
You will be instrumental in helping students overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
Your Key Responsibilities: Work closely with children with SEN, providing one-on-one support and guidance tailored to their needs.
Collaborate with teachers to modify lessons, resources, and activities to ensure all students are fully engaged.
Assist with personal care duties, including feeding, toileting, and helping with mobility when necessary.
Promote student independence and self-esteem, helping them engage positively with their learning and social interactions.
Ensure the classroom remains a nurturing and structured environment, offering support where needed, whether during lessons or breaks.
