This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with children with special educational needs (SEN) across primary year groups, as well as occasional support in the Sixth Form department.
If you are passionate about helping students thrive and have experience working with children with complex needs, we would love to hear from you.Role Overview:In this position, you will provide tailored support for children with special educational needs, working predominantly in the primary phase but with the potential to support older students in the Sixth Form as needed.
Some of the children you'll work with have severe learning needs, and your role will be crucial in helping them access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop independence.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the learning and development of children with special educational needs in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.Support children with severe learning difficulties, offering personal care when required.Collaborate with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and ensure that students' needs are met.Help foster an inclusive, positive, and supportive classroom environment.Occasionally work with students in the Sixth Form department who have more complex SEN needs.
