Send Teaching Assistant

Are you a SEND teaching assistant with experience of working with children with medical needs?
If you are an SEND specialist, or have strengths being a learning support assistant for children with additional and medical needs, this is the role for you!
From January, a Calder Valley Primary school is looking for a learning support assistant to work 1:1 with a boy in Year 3 with multiple needs.
Day to day for this SEND teaching assistant role: Supporting with moving safely around school Supporting child with learning Administrating medication Emotional support and good forming positive relationships Some personal care As a support assistant you will show strong pastoral and emotional support for your pupil, as well as being vigilant to their cues and needs which will mean being able to think on the spot and being flexible with his timetable.
The pupil will require some medical administration and behaviour support.
