This is a full-time role on a permanent contract, offering the chance to work in an inclusive environment that values student progress and well-being.
You will be responsible for teaching students with a range of special educational needs, including moderate to severe learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), and speech, language, and communication difficulties.
This position is ideal for someone passionate about providing high-quality education to SEND students.
You will have the opportunity to deliver a creative and engaging curriculum to small classes, with up to 8 pupils, supported by a high staff-to-student ratio.

Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEND students.
Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
Support students with moderate to severe learning difficulties and ASD.
Develop and implement personalised learning plans to meet individual student needs.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Monitor student progress and report to the senior leadership team.
Ensure a safe and structured learning environment.
Contribute to school initiatives aimed at promoting student well-being and achievement.
Qualifications and Experience: Experience in teaching SEND students is desirable, not essential.
Strong understanding of SEND teaching strategies.
Ability to engage students with complex learning needs.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
