This role involves supporting students in KS4 and KS5 with moderate and complex needs, making it an ideal opportunity for a passionate and experienced teacher to make a meaningful difference in students' lives.
Key Responsibilities: Specialist Teaching: Deliver tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with moderate and complex SEND.
Curriculum Support: Plan and adapt the curriculum to engage and support students in their academic and personal development.
Individualized Learning Plans: Work with SENCOs and support staff to create and implement effective learning strategies for each student.
Behaviour Management: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment with strong classroom management strategies.
Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with parents, carers, and multi-agency professionals to ensure holistic support for students.
Essential Requirements: Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is mandatory.
Experience: Previous experience working in a SEND teaching role, particularly with moderate and complex needs, is highly desirable.
DBS Check: Must have an enhanced child and adult DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, and the ability to inspire and engage SEND students.
