Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEND students.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
Provide support to students with moderate to severe learning difficulties, including autism.
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive student support.
Maintain a safe and structured classroom environment.
Contribute to the school's broader initiatives to promote student well-being and achievement.
Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience teaching SEND students is desirable, but not essential.
A strong understanding of SEND teaching methods.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
