What the Job Involves Provide leadership and support to SEN caseworkers to ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
Oversee and monitor the SEN teams performance, managing the EHCP process from assessment to review.
Implement and drive service improvements aligned with the SEND Code of Practice in readiness for Ofsted inspections.
Support and ensure quality assurance of annual reviews amidst growing demand without compromising service quality.
Collaborate with health and social care partners to foster a cohesive support system for children with SEN.
Ensure accurate monitoring and reporting of data, especially key performance metrics like EHCP timeliness.
Serve as an alternate for the Head of SEN as needed.
Ensure the management information system is used correctly to aid in accurate monitoring and service enhancement.
