SEN Learning Support Assistants Full-time / Long-term / Short-term Special schools SEND & SEMH environments 8:30am - 3:15pm Ideally immediate starts We're working closely with some fantastic special schools in the Devizes that are looking for LSA's to join the team ideally with an immediate start.
There a variety of different roles available currently, all ideally on a full-time basis.
These schools look after a mixture of SEMH & SEND students (ASD, SEMH, SLD, MLD, PMLD, Complex Needs) aged 4-19.
The role The role of LSA will be different school to school but typically it involves providing general classroom support, 1-1 work and supporting the class teacher with whatever they need.
You typically work with a number of other TA's in the class so it's important that you're natural team player.
Due to these being special schools, it is imperative that you have some form of experience working with special needs.
Ideally you would have supported in schools before but for the right person they are open to applications from candidates with support work experience.
