SEND Learning Support Assistant Special school Full-time preference 8:30am - 3:15pm Wide range of special needs Immediate start We work closely with a lovely special school based in Worcestershire that are looking for a SEND Learning Support Assistant to join the team on a full-time basis.
The school look after a wide range of special needs & disabilities (SLD, Complex Needs, ASD, MLD & PMLD) for ages 4-16.
The school are very proud of the important work they do at the school, really putting the needs of each individual at the centre of everything they do at the school. The role The school have a couple of gaps at the moment, so they are able to be place you into the most appropriate class relating to your experience.
The role consists mainly of providing general classroom support as well as 1-1 support inside and outside of the classroom. Due to the needs of the students, it is imperative that you have experience working with SEND in some capacity.
You must be patient, kind, proactive, hard working and confident in dealing with challenging situations. Working with Long-term Teachers: We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
