We are looking for a dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team on a temporary basis.
Key Details: Job Type: Temporary Hours: Flexible (arranged around your availability) Location: Child's home, local library, or school (as agreed) Subjects: Core subjects (English, Maths, Science) Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver personalised lessons to meet the specific needs of the child Use inclusive SEN learning strategies to create an engaging and supportive environment Adapt teaching methods to suit a range of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) requirements Monitor and assess the child's progress, adjusting lesson plans as needed Requirements: Experience: Experience with SEND students is essential Qualifications: SEN qualifications are desirable, but not required QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCE: Desirable but not mandatory DBS Check: Must have or be willing to undertake a DBS check Right to Work: Must have the right to work in the UK To be eligible for the LSA role through Prospero Teaching you must: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child-related references Prospero Teaching can offer the successful candidate: Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management In-house Training and Development Team Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
