You will be based in local SEN schools for children with designated Education Heath Care Plan (EHCP), which details their specific needs in terms of care and support they will have access to.
You will gain a breadth of experience with children of varying ages and abilities.
The schools use a wide range of teaching strategies and interventions to encourage positive outcomes and student development.
You will work within small classes individually and in groups, and encourage pupils' learning and progression as well as improve their social and emotional development.
Summary: Trainee SEN Teacher - Learning Support Assistant/ SEN Teaching Assistant Salary: £22,100-£26,000 FTE 5 hours per week - Monday-Friday 8.30am-3.
