Teaching Personnel is partnering with a Secondary school in Stockton, and we're looking for a dedicated individual to support students aged 11-16 with SEMH/SEN needs.

The school is dedicated to helping students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to overcome their challenges and reach their full potential.
Duties and Responsibilities: Provide support under the supervision of teaching staff to help pupils access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities.
Assist in planning and evaluating learning activities, offering feedback to the teacher on pupil progress.
Support the teacher with behaviour management, keeping students on task and maintaining classroom discipline.
Provide tailored support for students with challenging behaviour, following individual support plans and risk assessments.
Requirements: Enhanced child only DBS registered with the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Patient, reliable, and confident in supporting children and young people.
Experience working with SEN or disabilities is essential.
Previous experience as a Care/Support Worker is desirable.
